Position Weekend Warrior Cook (Part Time)
Location Ann Arbor, Michigan (2865 South Main Street, 48103)
Starting Wage $23.00‑25.00 per hour!
Shift Schedule Friday/Saturday: 6:30 am‑2 pm
Sunday/Monday: 11:30 am‑7 pm
Responsibilities
Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes, providing exceptional quality food that is attractively presented in a timely fashion.
Ensure health protocols are always followed, including proper hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and proper food temperatures.
Familiarize yourself with residents and their preferences and needs; participate in resident orientations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Must possess a current Food Handlers Card as specified per the Department of Health.
Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership, training, and supervision.
Proficient written and oral communication skills with other members of management, professional, and support staff.
Must be active as the role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be comfortable working in close contact with extreme temperatures, including cooking surfaces and walk‑in freezers.
Ability to work primarily indoors, but also be available to work outside for events.
Must be criminally cleared.
