This role will lead the installing, maintaining, and repairing of plumbing systems and fixtures which will include toilet replacements, faucet replacements, water heater replacements, soldering, and common plumbing repairs. In addition, this role will inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, water quality, and code compliance in residential. The Plumbing Technician will address customer queries, troubleshoot and resolve problems, and prepare cost estimates.**Duties and Responsibilities*** Perform residential and commercial plumbing service calls, including diagnostics, repairs, and installations.* Evaluate customer plumbing situation, develop multi-option proposals/estimates, and present to customers using the A-1/Groundworks Sales Methodology.* Works with customers for a thorough understanding of estimates* Understands service criteria and is accountable for exceeding revenue goals* Conduct camera inspections and respond to emergency plumbing situations* Diagnoses and repairs plumbing & piping systems and components in residential and commercial buildings* Ability to perform projects and service* Proficient in piping domestic, sewer, gas, and hydronic systems with experience in copper (soldering, pro press, and brazing), PVC, cast iron, gas piping (black iron, Gastite CSST), and PEX* Experience in boiler, chiller, and water heater replacement* Maintains tools, supplies and/or equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items and equipment are in safe operating condition* Knowledge of plumbing code* Prepares documentation for written support and conveys information appropriately* Responds to emergency situations to resolve plumbing & piping issues* Enforces a safety-focused culture* Great craftsmanship required* On Call and weekend shifts: We have a rotating schedule.
