Male Caregiver-overnight shifts
At Generations Home Care, our mission is to help people truly enjoy life at home. We have an immediate need for a male caregiver who desires to make a difference through compassion, redirection, and attentive care for a client with dementia. The shifts are 12-hour shifts, overnight, for 24-36 hours per week. Other hours are available outside of this assignment if needed/wanted. Our client requires redirection, companionship, reminders and cues, safety and patience. The goal is to anticipate the clients needs so his wife can sleep at night as she cares for him during the day.
Benefits:
Pay is $21.00-$23.00 per hour depending on experience and license

Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate care to a client with dementia
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a healthcare setting
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Pass a criminal background check
Have a calm disposition and great redirection skills
