Adjunct Construction Instructor

Job Responsibilities
Northeastern Technical College provides NCCER accredited training programs that equip adults with the basic skills and confidence to pursue a career as a skilled craft professional. This instructor position offers ongoing classroom instruction and facilitation of a core curriculum to a class of adult learners. Training on the curriculum will be provided.
The curriculum covers the following topics:
Basic Safety
Construction Math
Hand Tools
Power Tools
Construction Drawings
Communication Skills
Employability Skills
Material Handling
Teaching will occur during the day and some evenings.
Location The adjunct position may be located at the Cheraw, Marlboro, Dillon, or Pageland Campus, based on availability and need.
Minimum and Additional Requirements High School Diploma or GED.
Three (3) years of experience in industrial, construction, or other technical trades (e.g., Millwright, Industrial Maintenance Technician, Electrician, Instrumentation Technician, general construction, or project management).
Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Completion of NCCER trade training with level 1 and level 2 may be considered in lieu of work experience.
Valid driver’s license required.
