Beefbar is looking for a creative and skilled Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exquisite desserts that complement our premium meat offerings and contribute to an unforgettable dining experience.
Responsibilities
Prepare and present a variety of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods
Create visually stunning and flavorful dessert plates
Develop new dessert recipes and contribute to menu planning
Ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and portion control
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
Collaborate with the culinary team to create cohesive menu offerings
Manage inventory and order supplies for the pastry section
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience as a pastry cook in a fine dining establishment
Culinary degree with a focus on pastry arts or equivalent professional training
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, chocolate work, and sugar art
Creativity in flavor combinations and plating designs
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
Understanding of food allergens and dietary restrictions
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Capable of light lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
