Water Crew Leader II
We are looking for a Water Crew Leader II. The purpose of this classification is to lead, repair, and maintain the County’s water systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient water service for the community. Essential Functions
Provides direction, guidance and assistance to employees; organizes workload; makes work assignments; monitors work in progress; inspects completed work. Performs manual work functions associated with installation, maintenance and repair of water utility systems. Maintains inventory of supplies, tools and equipment for use at work sites. Monitors and repairs flow hydrants, checks for leaks and shut off water. Adheres to established safety procedures; monitors work environment and use of safety equipment to ensure safety of employees and other individuals. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, and two years of experience in water utility construction and maintenance; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must posses and maintain a valid commercial driver’s license, Flagger Certification, Trench and Utilities Safety Certification, and Water Distribution Certification. Benefits
