4421 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92105, United States Responsibilities
Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to the Bakery department Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders Clean shelving and display cases, rotate self‑serve displays, and maintain department cleanliness Work with the Baker to determine items that require baking or decorating Qualifications
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos Write simple correspondence Effectively present information to customers, clients, and employees in one‑on‑one or small group situations Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds Food Handler Card or equivalent certification (required) Extra Skills
