Environmental/Survey Field Technician
to join their team in
Marquette, Michigan . As an Environmental/Survey Field Technician, you will be responsible for conducting fieldwork related to environmental assessments, surveys, and data collection.

What You Will Do
Perform field data collection, including soil, water, air, and biological sampling.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain field equipment such as GIS mapping devices, environmental monitoring instruments, and survey tools.
Ensure accurate documentation and record‑keeping of field activities and findings.
Collaborate with project teams to interpret data and prepare reports.
Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations during field operations.
Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members regarding field findings and potential issues.
What We Are Looking For
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field required.
2+ years of experience in environmental fieldwork or a related discipline is preferred.
Proficiency with GPS and GIS related technology.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in outdoor field conditions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to travel 25‑50% of the time.
