Job Description – Responsibilities

Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.

Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient responses and needs.

Assess patients' conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and address any complications.

Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy.

Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance.

Qualification Requirements – Expertise and Experience

Associate’s of Nursing (Required)

Bachelor's of Nursing

Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) – EV Accredited Issuing Body

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement

AVADE – EV Accredited Issuing Body

BLS – CPR Cert (Basic Life Support) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement

Certified Medical‑Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) – Accredited Issuing Body

Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) – EV Accredited Issuing Body

Certified RN Infusion (CRNI) – EV Accredited Issuing Body

Chemotherapy Certificate (CHEMO) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
