Job Title Branch Driver – Wilsonville, OR
Job Overview We are looking for a Branch Driver to join our PLATT team in Wilsonville, OR. The role includes 50% warehouse responsibilities and involves delivering products to/from customers, branch/warehouse locations, and suppliers using a delivery van or box truck (CDL not required). The Driver will ensure deliveries meet customer requirements efficiently and materials are correct and free of damage.
Responsibilities
Inspect company vehicle for visual and operating defects; complete a daily inspection report.
Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; alert supervisor of required repairs or service.
Follow Department of Transportation, local, and state driving laws and regulations.
Load or unload vehicle and verify each order’s quantity and type, ensuring materials are free of damage before departure.
Assist in preparing orders for delivery when needed.
Ensure all documentation is complete at time of delivery, including signed receipts, packing lists, and branch/warehouse manifest.
Pick up material returns from customers, inspecting condition, and verifying quantities and catalog numbers.
Pick up material from company suppliers.
Mentor and coach entry‑level drivers; participate in their training.
Support warehouse duties such as preparing, filling, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:
Attend company driver training (in lieu of experience).
Valid driver’s license.
Minimum 21 years of age.
Pass pre‑employment and annual Motor Vehicle Record review.
Obtain verification of a non‑expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire.
No suspended driver’s license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
No at‑fault accidents in the past 3 years.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Handle loads with a combined weight not to exceed 26,000 GVW.
Handle basic issues and problems.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and familiarity with traffic and driver laws.
Adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills; meet deadlines.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Physical Demands
Stay in stationary position (51% of time).
Move around inside/outside (up to 20%).
Use hands, fingers, or other body parts to handle or feel (51%).
Crouch to stock shelves, pick up boxes, or work in confined spaces (up to 20%).
