We are seeking an
Auxiliary Aide
to assist our nursing department. Join us to support patients while developing your CNA credentials.

Job Summary As an Auxiliary Assistant, you will assist C.N.A.s, provide patient assistance, and complete the Accolade CNA Program within six months to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Pay Rate Pay Rate : $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
Provide assistance to C.N.A.s (no physical resident care)
Answer call lights
Assist with 15‑minute visual checks, ensuring assigned CNA receives completed documentation
Assist residents in wheelchairs to and from dining rooms
Help in dining rooms (pass drinks, take orders, serve meals)
Take meal orders and serve meals to residents who choose to eat in their room
Make beds
Pass ice water and snacks to residents without modified diets
Ensure resident rooms are neat and tidy (clean nightstands, bedside tables, empty trash, etc.)
Log personal items as necessary and label, bag, and place them in nightstands
Ensure rooms and shower rooms fully stocked (gloves, personal hygiene items, etc.)
Follow facility policies for resident safety and complete orientation and Relias Training
Clean wheelchairs
AA will perform NO direct patient care (lifting, transferring, incontinent care, feeding)
Answer phone using proper etiquette
Resident visitation/conversation time/perform resident sitter duty if needed
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Must meet physical requirements of the functions of this position
Must complete Accolade CNA Program and test within six months of hire
