Special Requirements

The position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired. The incumbent is required to wear respiratory protection equipment (including self‑contained breathing apparatus (SCBA)). This includes annual medical clearance and fit‑testing for respiratory protection equipment.

Must successfully complete required training prior to emergency response as a condition of employment.

Must maintain the Arduous Fitness Standard in accordance with Department policy.

Extended travel away from assigned headquarters is required.
