About the Role
We’re looking for an Environmental Technician to join a major infrastructure project focused on building a natural gas fractionator and export dock. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll manage environmental compliance, waste streams, and water systems while collaborating with multiple teams to keep the project safe, sustainable, and on track.
What You’ll Do
Oversee hazardous and non‑hazardous waste streams from start to finish.
Ensure proper segregation, labeling, and storage of all waste containers.
Coordinate logistics for roll‑off boxes with contractors, landfills, and transport companies.
Maintain accurate waste manifests and compliance records.
Sample waste streams, interpret lab results, and set up landfill profiles.
Water & Stormwater
Monitor stormwater controls and direct sampling activities.
Respond quickly to leaks or spills to prevent regulatory issues.
Compliance & Reporting
Assist in creating compliance systems and documentation (CEMS, HRVOC, MECT, permits).
Support permit rollouts and ensure stakeholders understand regulatory requirements.
Investigate environmental incidents and complete reports in Intelex.
Act as a liaison between contractors and external partners to resolve issues such as overweight boxes, documentation errors, and compliance flags.
Work with engineering teams to integrate environmental considerations into design and operations.

Experience in waste management and sampling procedures.
