Delaware North Sportservice is searching for seasonal Cooks to join our team at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. As a Cook, no day will be the same working in this energetic team. What will you do?
Prepare food tocomply withallportionsizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper food temperatures ismaintained, food is stored correctly, the freshness and quality of all menu items, and packages all products to proper specifications
Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory
Clean, and sanitize your areas often including and not limited to sweeping,moppingand scrubbing of kitchen walks, floors, and equipment
Remove your kitchens trash and dispose into dumpster
Assistother areas of the kitchen not limited to dishwashing and porter duties on occasion
Will berequiredon occasion to cook in front of guests
Assistin cooking duties in other kitchen spaces as required by management
More about you
Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations
Capable of working in a fast‑paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions
Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
No experience or diploma required
Physical requirements
Must be able to lift 20 lbs or more
Ability to stand for long periods while also bending, lifting, and reaching
Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
Exposed to variable temperatures
