Entry Level Robot Programmer/ Engineer

Duration: 24 Months Contract
Note: Please note that since this is an entry level job, manager is looking for new grads that are trainable and willing to learn.
Responsibilities
This person will create offline robot programs for download in a robotic production process. Coordinate with Regional Paint Engineer study, conduct the trial, evaluate based on safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
Supporting Paint DE group to develop reach studies and cycle time analysis for sealer, UBC, and dampening coat robot processes.
Supporting Paint DE group to develop reach studies and cycle time analysis for primer, base, clear and interior robot processes.
This includes leading all meetings with related groups, document creation, and supporting the plants in the process. Position will include travel to US, Mexico and Canada.
Must be able to work with minimal direction and previous experience is a must.
Requirements
Programming paint robots offline programming software or equivalent.
Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications.
Experience with Digital Engineering.
Additional related certifications.
2 years technical degree or equivalent work experience.
4 years technical degree or equivalent work experience.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge.
Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects.
Able to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
