What You’ll Get to Do The Class A Driver is focused on responsibly transporting and unloading product to customers, while interacting daily with customers to help resolve any issues that may arise and reports to the Fleet Manager.
This role is perfect for an individual who is safety conscious & self‑motivated and flexible with shift start and end time. A vital member of the Fleet Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job Responsibilities
Handle and load/unload glass and/or metal products, load securement, daily pre and post trip of vehicles, multiple deliveries, and customer service.
Unload loose, crated, and racked glass, metal and associated products, and operate boom cranes.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks, and adhere to all DOT regulations, safety policies, and procedures, including Critical Safety Rules.
What We Are Looking For
Compliance with all DOT requirements, including an unexpired Medical Examiners Certificate.
Flexibility with start / end times.
Ability to read and interpret mathematical measurements of glass sizes and delivery schedules, and effectively use a tape measure.
Must read, write and speak English.
Good customer relations and people skills.
