Framer Position – Michaels Store, Brick, NJ
Be among the first 25 applicants for this part‑time role at Michaels, a leading retail destination for creative expression. The store maintains a safe, clean, and clutter‑free environment where customers can shop for custom framing solutions. Major Activities
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs; ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements. Build relationships with customers while delivering custom framing solutions and achieve sales and production results. Complete framing orders with high quality and on time. Maintain ready‑made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment. Provide friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for; maintain a well merchandised and in‑stock store. Support shrink and safety programs. Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; project a positive image and serve as a role model. Participate in truck unload and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget. Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards. Acknowledge customers, help locate product and provide solutions. Assist with omni‑channel processes. Other Duties As Assigned
As needed for store operations. Minimum Experience
Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills. Ability to operate framing equipment and use a glass cutter. Preferred Experience
Retail experience. Experience selling products and/or services to customers. Physical Requirements
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching. Ability to move throughout the store. Ability to remain standing for long periods of time. Lifting heavy boxes, frames and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment. Request reasonable accommodations through the interactive process if needed. Work Environment
Public retail store setting; some areas climate controlled, some stock rooms not. Occasional outdoor work retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. Handles glass cutting and heat press; includes night, weekend, and early morning shifts. Salary
