Job Summary A Barnes & Noble bookstore is a gathering place for readers and the community. As a Barista, you are an integral member of the café team. You welcome customers cheerfully, answer questions, and connect readers with the right beverages and café items. You also help maintain the attractive presentation of the café, unpack and stock deliveries, tidy the bake case and dining area, and operate the registers in a quick and friendly manner.

Follow FIFO practices and date products consistently and correctly.

Support the bookfloor team willingly and effectively when needed.

Physical Demands All this work requires physical activity, including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, and a lot of walking. You may work in other stores if needed to support the wider cluster.
