Job Description
Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking at Mondelēz International. Part‑time Nabisco Merchandiser.
Responsibilities
Represent Mondelēz in front of in‑store employees and work closely with the sales representative to optimize visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and to construct promotional displays.
Carry out in‑store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
Ensure leading Nabisco brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit) are well represented, stocked, and maintained through the implementation of Mondelēz’ guidelines.
Ensure sales representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are being followed and communicate any issues with the Mondelēz management team.
Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure the most efficient in‑store service.
Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store.
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age and possess a valid REAL ID driver’s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID.
Positive, professional, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
Ability to drive personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage reimbursed).
Ability to download and use work‑related applications on a personal device.
Physical ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 25 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs) and move products from stock rooms to store floor.
Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus.
Live within 25 miles of Santa Maria, CA (primary location). Secondary locations: Lompoc, Grover Beach, CA.
Open availability, including weekends and holidays, as needed; schedule may change based on business needs.
Salary and Benefits Hourly compensation rate of $19.00.
