Position Summary
The Assistant Pool Manager supports the Pool Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the municipal swimming pool. This includes supervising staff, ensuring patron safety, assisting with scheduling, and helping maintain a positive and enjoyable environment for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Pool Manager with supervision and training of lifeguards and concession staff.
Help monitor pool activities and enforce safety rules.
Assist with scheduling.
Provide excellent customer service and assist in resolving patron concerns.
Help coordinate swim lessons, rentals, and special events.
Serve as acting Pool Manager in their absence.
Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma
Previous lifeguarding experience preferred.
CPR and First Aid certifications before start date
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Season & Compensation
Position runs from
May – August 2026 .
Seasonal, full-time hours.
Pay based on qualifications and experience.
