High School Substitute Teacher

Wake Christian Academy – Substitute Teacher Wake Christian Academy is seeking a professionally qualified candidate who has a love for children and who serves as a Christian role model in daily life (Luke 6:40). The substitute teacher’s primary responsibility is to maintain educational continuity by supervising students and following the lesson plans left by the absent regular teacher, ensuring the learning process continues smoothly while upholding the school's faith‑based mission.

Responsibilities

Execute the lesson plan assigned by the regular teacher.

Provide clear instructions and assist students in understanding the subject matter.

Maintain discipline and control in the classroom.

Supervise students throughout the school day.

Qualifications

Professional teaching qualification.

Love for children and a consistent Christian example in daily life.

Ability to follow lesson plans and support students’ learning.

Strong classroom management skills.
