Worship Pastor

Buffat Heights Baptist is seeking a full-time worship pastor. We are a medium sized church in Knoxville, TN. Our worship is generally contemporary, our congregation is multi generational. The position involves all responsibilities related to worship leadership including growing and developing the worship team (musicians and vocalists) as well as working with a choir. Other responsibilities include media, audio visual and AV team leadership. All staff members handle other areas of responsibilities outside of their primary roles, those to be determined based on the candidate’s talents, abilities and experience as well as the needs of the church. The worship pastor works alongside of the other staff under the leadership of the senior pastor. Candidates should have a deep love for Christ and His church people. Candidates must view the platform as an opportunity for worship leadership not performance. Bachelor’s degree required as well as a minimum of 2 years worship leadership experience. This is a full-time job on the ministry staff. Staff are expected to fully participate in the general life of the church. Staff generally get 1 day off per week in addition to Saturdays. Full-time staff receive 2 weeks paid vacation as well as other benefits related to ministry opportunities. Additional benefits to be discussed as process moves forward. Hopewell First Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a full-time Senior Pastor who feels called by God to serve our congregation. Located in rural Hampton County at 6404 Hopewell Road, our church is situated about five miles south of Hampton, SC. We are affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention and the Allendale‑Hampton Baptist Association. Hopewell is looking for a pastor who meets the qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1‑7 and Titus 1:5‑9. The candidate must uphold the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. We prefer applicants to have 3-5 years of experience in pastoral ministry and ideally hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Divinity or Theology from an Southern Baptist Convention seminary or an accredited university aligned with the SBC.
