Responsibilities

Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview, and examination.

Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies.

Provide preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations, and patient care.

Offer direct treatment and manage health conditions, referring to other healthcare providers or community resources.

Counsel and educate patients and families concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources.

Document care and nursing processes in accordance with specialty area standards and network nursing policy.

Qualifications

Licensed Physician MD/DO, credentialed from the Texas Medical Board, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Advanced Practice Provider or Pediatric Intensivist experience preferred.

Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level
