Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The Amazon Leo North America Consumer team is looking for a talented individual to lead Mexico Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. This role is responsible for launching consumer products and services. You will have a high degree of ownership as you define target customer segments, product positioning, and service launch plans. You will work closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Global Planning and Operations, Customer Service, Field Services, and more. A successful candidate will be both entrepreneurial, highly analytical, and able to work extremely effectively in a matrixed organization. We are looking for someone customer obsessed and technology savvy with a proven track record of leading new initiatives, especially related to consumer products and services. You will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast‑paced and ever‑changing environment—all while ensuring a successful service launch in Mexico.

Key job responsibilities

Develop the go-to-market strategy, business models, and distribution plans to launch residential broadband services, establish business plans (including revenue and profitability targets), and orchestrate that plan across the organization

Leverage specialized geospatial analytics tools, complex network models, and technical expertise to build regional go-to-market plans for residential broadband services

Generate in-depth analysis and insights to define target customer segments and develop product positioning

Develop the bid and pursuit strategy for public‑private partnership opportunities. Own end-to‑end business development process for request for proposals, grant applications, and more

Evaluate competitive landscape and benchmark service plans, pricing, features, and partnerships

Own launch readiness for residential broadband services and lead cross‑functional team across product, sales, marketing, operations, business, legal, finance, and other partner teams

Deliver insightful business analyses, financial models, and comprehensive, written strategy documents considering different types of data and inputs across a broad range of stakeholders

Prepare detailed business cases for justification of new opportunities

Partner with legal, tax and regulatory to engage in business partnerships and local regulatory efforts

This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

4+ years of professional or military experience

Bachelor's degree

Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting

Experience thinking and working creatively to develop unique joint value propositions and product strategy within a partner ecosystem
