The Sales Representative is responsible for generating advertising and marketing revenues across all Lessiter Media Ag Division properties. This role is a

front-line, revenue-producing position

focused on

prospecting, consultative selling, and long-term client relationship development . The Sales Representative is accountable for meeting or exceeding individual sales goals through disciplined pipeline management, solution-based selling, and a strong understanding of client business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

Generate advertising and marketing sales revenue

across all Lessiter Media Ag Division platforms, including print, digital, events, and custom marketing programs.

Actively prospect for new business , including identifying, researching, and pursuing qualified leads that align with Lessiter Media’s audience and offerings.

Manage and grow a defined book of business , maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while expanding account penetration through consultative selling.

Conduct discovery-based sales conversations

to understand client objectives, challenges, budgets, and timelines, and develop customized marketing solutions to meet those needs.

Sell integrated, multi-platform marketing solutions , positioning Lessiter Media as a strategic marketing partner rather than a transactional vendor.

Create and maintain a healthy, forward-looking sales pipeline , ensuring consistent activity levels that support near-term and long-term revenue goals.

Prioritize the sale of perishable and expiring inventory , maintaining a sense of urgency around time-sensitive opportunities and focusing on sales that produce near-term revenue.

Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals , clearly articulating value, ROI, and alignment with client goals.

Negotiate pricing and terms within established company guidelines , closing business efficiently while protecting the company’s long-term interests.

Accurately forecast weekly and monthly sales activity , providing clear updates on pipeline status, expected closes, and variances from budget.

Collaborate closely with marketing, editorial, design, and operations teams

to ensure smooth execution and fulfillment of sold programs.

Maintain detailed and accurate CRM records , including contacts, activity, proposals, and deal status.

Monitor industry trends, client performance, and competitive activity , using insights to uncover new opportunities and strengthen sales conversations.

Represent Lessiter Media professionally at industry events, conferences, and trade shows , generating leads and strengthening client relationships.

Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge , participating in training and applying best practices in consultative selling.

Additional Responsibilities Perform additional duties as assigned by the President or Chairman.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.

Proven success in B2B media sales, advertising sales, or consultative solution selling.

Demonstrated ability to prospect consistently and build new business pipelines.

Strong consultative selling skills, including discovery, solution development, and value-based presentations.

Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize sales activity, and meet deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience selling across print, digital, and event-based marketing platforms preferred.

High level of personal accountability and self-motivation.

Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams.

Willingness and ability to travel to client sites and industry events as needed.
