We are seeking a customer‑centric Inside Sales Representative to join our central inside sales team at HID’s business area Identification Technologies (IDT). The role primarily focuses on managing and growing existing US customers as well as driving the lead management process. You will be responsible for retaining and growing existing customer accounts through various strategic and tactical sales activities, owning and driving the lead management process from initial contact to qualification and nurturing, and ensuring a smooth transition to the appropriate teams for closing. You will be part of a global inside sales team and work closely with US outside sales colleagues.

Responsibilities

Retain and grow existing customer accounts through various strategic and tactical sales activities.

Own the lead management process, from initial contact to qualification and nurturing, ensuring a smooth transition to the appropriate teams for closing.

Research and qualify leads to grow the IDT sales pipeline.

Create and maintain a database of prospective clients.

Act as a champion of IDT products and services, providing sales support across all IDT sales channels.

Set up new customer accounts and manage account updates in CRM tools, ensuring compliance with internal documentation requirements.

Provide quotations, review and screen purchase orders (POs), and contribute to demand forecasting in Sales and Operations.

Maintain professional and effective communication with customers and internal sales teams via phone and email, documenting all activities in CRM tools.

Plan and conduct presentations of IDT solutions to customers via phone, online tools, and email.

Occasionally accompany the sales team on visits to major accounts for business reviews as well as trade shows.

Submit monthly reports in a timely manner as required by management.

Improve sales skills through training to enhance sales success rates.

Qualifications

Degree in Sales or equivalent.

Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in sales, inside sales, sales assistant or similar.

Proven experience in sales, inside sales, customer support, or a related field.

Customer‑oriented with a strong focus on providing high customer value and service.

Working knowledge of the technical characteristics of IDT products.

Ability to take initiative, stay well‑organized, and manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.

Strong CRM proficiency and effective contact management database skills (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).

Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, decision‑making, presentation, and organization.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while thriving in a team‑oriented environment.

Comfortable working with and interacting across various languages and cultures.

Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and complete both short‑term and long‑term projects on time.

Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on product enhancements and industry trends.

Knowledge and/or experience of the RFID industry is a plus.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range does not account for geographic differentials based on the location where the position may be filled. At HID, it is uncommon for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the range. Final compensation decisions depend on the specific facts and circumstances of each case.

The base salary in the United States is $58,000 to $65,000. The OTE is up to $74,750.
