Join the ScanScape team as a Retail Scan Associate. This is a
permanent part‑time
role.
Overview Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve sales performance for the products and the retailer.
Responsibilities
Perform in‑store data collection at assigned local retailers each week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
Use a downloadable app to scan barcodes in various store locations.
Provide the quantity of approximately 45% of the products scanned.
Complete display scanning of the entire store, which can take several hours each week.
Fulfill custom projects requested by clients, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store when required.
Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain high quality and reliability.
Qualifications
At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
Ability to be on your feet for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, reach 6 ft, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Deadline‑driven self‑starter.
Reliable Wi‑Fi access.
Tech savvy.
High school diploma or GED (preferred).
