Position Summary: Master Mechanic to perform mechanical work on school buses andother district vehicles
Minimum Qualifications: Education:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in lieu of education
Experience:
Eight (8) years’ experience in the mechanical repair of diesel, gasoline, alternative fuel powered trucks, school buses and automobiles
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:
Advanced knowledge in diverse fleet maintenance and repair, positive attitude, strong self‑initiative, desire for continuous improvement and be willing to work varied shifts,and/or work over when requested
Must also possess or be willing to obtain the following: CDL Class A combination with passenger endorsement, State of Oklahoma School Bus Driving Certificate, State of Oklahoma Alternative Fuels CNG Technician Certificate, ASE School Bus Technician Certification, Basic tools required to perform duties
Able and willing to learn Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
