Job Summary
Automotive Technician role at Amerit Fleet Solutions — a leading fleet maintenance company in the US. This position is based in Cleveland, OH and focuses on light and medium‑duty fleet vehicles.
Compensation Competitive hourly pay: $32‑38/hr, paid weekly on Fridays.
Shift Monday‑Friday, 7:30 pm – 4:00 am (overnight service).

Role Overview
Prepare vehicle records and report manually and on computer.
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on light and medium‑duty vehicles.
Conduct safety inspections and prepare required documentation.
Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Inspect and work on under parts of vehicles; access any area for maintenance.
Move parts to and from job sites; remove or install parts on vehicles.
Maintain general upkeep of mobile service truck.
Respond to off‑site client requests as needed.
Communicate with clients via email and phone.
Perform other duties as required.
Ideal Candidate
At least 5 years of vehicle maintenance experience or an auto/diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school.
Valid driver’s license.
CMV operation above 10K requiring medical certification.
Proficient computer skills: Excel, Word, fleet management systems, email.
Ability to work without direct supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Capable of operating a manual transmission vehicle for diagnostics.
Must provide own hand tools and toolbox.
Working Conditions
Exposure to heavy traffic, dust, diesel fumes, noise, chemicals, oils, greases.
Access any area of equipment/vehicle for maintenance.
Ability to move and position heavy objects.
Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl.
Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
