What You Need
Completion of a formal Tool & Die apprenticeship program or 8+ years of equivalent experience
Solid experience building, repairing, and troubleshooting complex dies, fixtures, jigs, and tooling
Familiarity with machining setups, tool feeds, materials, and tolerances
Skilled with hand tools, gauges, and machine shop equipment
Able to read blueprints and perform heat treating and welding
Comfortable working independently on die setups, in-press PMs, and bench repair
Valid forklift license (or willingness to obtain) and experience operating overhead cranes
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
What You Will Do
Build and repair tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for production use
Fit, assemble, test, and adjust dies in and out of press
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on tooling
Support production teams with in-press diagnostics and troubleshooting
Document work, maintain a clean and safe area, and follow 6S standards
Collaborate with tool room and operations teams to resolve tooling issues
