What your future day will look like:
Design and make tools, dies, jigs and fixtures
Operate machine tools to make parts
Routine maintenance on tools and dies
Install dies in presses
Quality inspection on the tools and dies
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
Apprenticeship or training program
Experience with CAM software and CNC programming
Knowledge of metals and their properties
