Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, including both commercial and industrial environments. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with high and low voltage systems. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for installing pumps and controls, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, troubleshooting and working on control panels for pump systems while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Will be operating and working out of a crane truck. CDL is not required. Crane truck operation experience is a plus. Note: 1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants. Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues. Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations during all work performed. Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and safely. Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices or less experienced electricians when necessary.
Requirements
Valid Journeyperson Electrician license or equivalent certification. Proficiency in working with hand tools and high voltage equipment. Experience as a commercial electrician or industrial electrician is preferred. Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and their applications. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation accurately. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
