Refrigeration Technician
Insight Global is seeking multiple Refrigeration Technicians to support one of our largest data center clients. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional technical trade school education in mechanical, electrical, or electronics. The technician must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field and be proficient in Microsoft Suite.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain HVAC systems supporting the servers within the data center.
Troubleshoot HVAC system issues.
Collaborate with vendors and contractors.
Desired Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in Refrigeration, HVAC (commercial or residential), Data Center, or low voltage technician.
Proficiency with multimeters.
Experience installing HVAC systems.
Proven ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems.
Experience handling service calls.
Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers, including:
Electrical feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear.
UPS systems, DC power systems, ATS/STS units, PDU units.
Breakers, batteries, load bank connections.
Compensation Base pay range: $35.00/hr - $45.00/hr. Overtime is unlimited. Shift differential: +$1 for swing shift and +$3 for night shift.
