Job Description Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for basic to advanced automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within the limit of authority.
This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your auto‑claims handling skills. The Material Damage Team seeks candidates who deliver clarity, fairness, and confidence—one claim at a time.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with reps from fraud or subrogation areas to achieve the best outcome for claims involving fraud or subrogation.
Recognize and identify vehicle body parts and understand potential property damage.
Identify customer needs and meet those needs using appropriate customer‑service skills.
Determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle it.
Apply an intermediate understanding of insurance policies written by the company and industry standards.
Investigate all aspects of auto claims—coverage, damages, subrogation—using discretion and independence within an increased level of authority.
Experience
2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities This job does not have supervisory duties.
Compensation Base compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation includes base pay and incentive pay (commission, bonus, etc.).
