The Front‑Office Assistant will help keep patients smiling and the office running smoothly.

Schedule Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am‑5:00 pm & some Saturdays, 8:30 am‑3:00 pm.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome patients on arrival.

Manage front‑office duties: answer phones, check mail/email, communicate with patients and insurance companies.

Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.

Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.

File insurance claims, verify benefits, and follow up on outstanding claims.

Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivable.

Review treatment‑plan fees and payment options with patients.

Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience & Education

High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Experience

2+ years in a dental or medical setting.

2+ years with insurance billing and accounts receivable.

Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.

Dental Knowledge, Software & Experience

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.

Microsoft Office Suite experience.

Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically.
