Minimum Qualifications

Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer proficiency.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse patient populations.
Knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations such as HIPAA.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification as a Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) or similar credential.
Experience working in behavioral health or specialty clinical settings.

Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate patient appointments with appropriate clinical staff based on urgency and availability.
Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) with precise and confidential patient data.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical teams to clarify information and resolve any intake‑related issues.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations during all intake processes.
Assist in managing referral processes and follow‑up communications to support continuity of care.
Identify and elevate any potential barriers to patient access or care to appropriate clinical or administrative personnel.
