3rd Shift Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Booneville)

Our Booneville Plant opened in 1962 and has been steadily growing in the community. We are currently seeking a 3rd Shift Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician. Role Overview As an electro‑mechanical maintenance technician, you will repair, adjust, install, and remove all packaging equipment, from legacy machines to state‑of‑the‑art models. You will work in a clean manufacturing setting requiring physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 100 pounds. Your expertise ensures the production environment runs smoothly to deliver high‑quality products.
Qualifications
High mechanical aptitude and ability to problem‑solve.
Proficient reading and writing English, and basic math skills.
Knowledge of industrial electronics, PLCs, drives, schematics, and ladder logic.
Strong team player who can give and receive constructive feedback.
Professionalism when interacting with customers, co‑workers, management, and the public.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Education & Experience
Associate’s Degree in Electro‑Mechanical Technology or related field. Willingness to pursue further education to keep up with technology.
Preferably 5 + years in a similar manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities & Duties
Provide technical support to the production environment, ensuring equipment functions for consistent quality.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on high‑speed cheese packaging lines.
Install and remove new or existing equipment as needed.
Fabricate and machine stainless steel and other materials used in the facility.
Core Hours 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:45 p.m. – 6 a.m. (Saturday 5:45 p.m. – 12 a.m.)
Saturday shifts are typically six hours. Availability of Saturday hours depends on production and staffing needs.
All work beyond 8 hours a day or 40 hours a week shall be compensated at time and a half.
