As a Garage Technician I you will perform safe and efficient repair and maintenance on company fleet or storage and over the road trailer refrigeration units. Key duties may include:
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Maintains proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of company fleet trailer refrigeration units
Maintains proficiency in all aspects of preventative maintenance procedures on company fleet of trailers
Tests, repairs, and/or replaces electrical and lighting components per established procedures
Completes required paperwork including equipment write-ups and work orders on a daily basis
Provides temporary assistance in any area of the garage to support customers as needed
Applies lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste in all areas of the position
YOU MUST HAVE
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver license
Demonstrated aptitude in PC/laptop computer skills
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
Previous experience performing semi-trailer refrigeration repairs
Refrigerant 608/609 certification
Valid Class A CDL
Desire to be a strong team player working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ROLE SPECIFICS
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Hours: 6:00pm - 4:30am
Work both inside and outside in all weather conditions
Extensive standing and/or walking on concrete surfaces
