High Tech Operator in our Milk Processing department
based in
Minster, Ohio .
Responsibilities
Communicating with operators, maintenance, delivery personnel, and all departments involved in production process (e.g., warehouse, distribution, fruit room, packaging, scheduling)
Operating powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, etc.) to load ingredients into liquefier
Carrying ingredient bags to and from powered industrial trucks
Performing quality checks on raw materials
Preparing for subsequent phases in the manufacturing process
Testing raw materials and in-process product components for nutritional contents
Loading module of injection ferments
Entering product information into computer systems
Troubleshooting and responding to process breakdowns
Cleaning and sanitation tasks (e.g., equipment sterilization, disposal of waste material, general housekeeping, etc.)
Performing confined space tank entries with fellow team members to check tank integrity, cleanliness, and modified areas for cracks or abnormalities.
Other assigned duties as directed
Compensation and Benefits
The base rate for the High Tech Operator is
$28.34/hr , increasing to
$29.83/hr
after one year. Night shift employees receive an additional
$1.00/hr
shift premium. Qualifications
High School degree or GED (Required)
Advanced education (Technical, Associates, Bachelors) (preferred)
Dairy processing experience (preferred)
Total Preventative Maintenance (preferred)
Open schedule ability. You must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays when scheduled. The schedule is a 3-2-2 pattern.

High mechanical aptitude
Open to team collaboration, building relationships, and sharing of knowledge/ideas with a positive attitude
