Job Description To analyze, research, forecast, and reconcile complex financial documents; ensure compliance with laws, rules, and policies; perform related work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day financial management multiple grant funded programs. This position is responsible for coordinating purchasing and payroll with ISU Accounting, coordinating expenditures, preparing grant budgets, and financial reports in conjunction with Grants Accounting.
This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate purchasing, accounts payable, payroll requests/forms.
Update and maintain internal financial grant records for decision making.
Relay accurate financial information to Principal Investigators and Project Directors.
Prepare grant budgets.
Prepare and submit reports to the funding agency in conjunction with Grants Accounting.
Minimum Qualifications
Some Knowledge of: Financial Record Keeping.
Experience: Researching and compiling financial information and preparing summaries and reports.
Using personal computers to enter, retrieve, and edit financial data.
Additional Information The anticipated compensation rate for this role is $17.25 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
