Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 Hourly
Shift Starts at 2:00 AM
Job Purpose The Expeditor's primary duty is to ensure that all orders are accurate, prioritized by time and location, include all specialty shopping items, include all items, accouterments are free of allergens, are HACCP compliant, and are packaged, labeled and delivered on time and to the accurate location.
Responsibilities and Associated Duties
Prioritize orders, pulling and packing orders, quality assurance, order completeness, appropriate packaging and labeling, delivery timing, miscellaneous procurement, and overall compliance with ACES specifications associated with Air Culinaire orders.
Verify that food quality and specifications match the kitchen-issued specifications in the software system.
Participate in the process of directly serving Air Culinaire customers by phone, email and in-person and obtain feedback on product and service.
Relay feedback and suggestions to the Catering Director or General Manager to continue to monitor, maintain and improve quality.
Act as the central kitchen captain of quality and accuracy and as the on-site problem solver in the event of situations requiring immediate action.
Make decisions to require that food be remade, re‑displayed or otherwise modified to meet client needs.
Resolve all issues following company procedures related to customer quality, satisfaction, safety, and cost.
Pickup supplies as needed during business and routine vehicle cleaning and maintenance.
Understand and maintain quality control and food-safety procedures during delivery.
Dress professionally and within ACW procedures, including company approved uniform.
Assist with assembly of silverware units and stocking items in kitchens while maintaining shopping lists, runs at least 3 days in advance of delivery and maintaining the shopping shelf for retail items.
Meet weekly with the GM to ensure ACW standards and procedures are accurately reflected in day-to-day operations.
Safely operate company vehicles and drive in compliance with local and federal laws and regulations.
Cross‑train to prepare or produce food in the kitchen, or drive, as secondary duty when business is slow and staffing shortages occur.
Perform any tasks assigned by the General Manager or Operations Manager.

Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements
High School diploma is required.
Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience is required.
Previous face‑to‑face customer service experience in aviation, food services or hospitality industry is essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in email, Internet use and basic office software.
Prior knowledge of aviation terminology preferable; FDA Regulations and safe food handling required.
Sense of priority at all times and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Prior hospitality/food Expo and delivery experience preferred.
Flexibility to work shift hours that may vary, based on business needs.
Operational Demands Flexibility to work schedule required, including weekends and holidays.
Candidate must be able to travel in accordance with the current ACW Travel Policy.
Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply good judgement and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Physical Demands The employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. Frequently required to use hands to handle, reach and carry with hands and arms. Required to stand and walk. Must lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Work Environment Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
