Position Overview A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service.
When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures that store operations run smoothly, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.
Responsibilities
Work effectively with store management and store crews.
Supervise the store’s crew through assignment, direction and follow‑up of all activities.
Effectively communicate information to and from store management and crews.
Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints.
Promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, thank).
Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers.
Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
Price merchandise, stock shelves and execute the display, sign and inventory of weekly, promotional and seasonal merchandise.
Reset departments following Planned Order Go (POG) procedures.
Required Qualifications
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills and computer proficiency.
Advanced communication and supervisory skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, overtime, and respond to urgent store issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a retail supervisor.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred but Not Required.
Anticipated Weekly Hours 40
Time Type Full time
Pay Range $16.00 - $23.00 per hour.
This represents the base hourly rate for this grade.
The actual offer depends on experience, education, geography and other factors.
