Role Description As a Ride Maintenance Technician II, you will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of rides, attractions, and equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Daily tasks include conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with team members and management to ensure all attractions meet compliance regulations. This is a full‑time, on‑site position located in East Rutherford, NJ, requiring hands‑on work within the American Dream entertainment complex.
Qualifications
Strong mechanical skills, including experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems
Knowledge of electrical systems, diagnostics, and safety standards in maintenance practices
Proficiency in performing preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical and amusement ride systems
Experience with safety inspections, adhering to equipment regulations, and analyzing maintenance needs
Ability to read technical manuals, interpret blueprints, and follow detailed written instructions
Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills
Availability to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs
Preferred qualifications: certifications in ride maintenance or relevant technical trades, experience in an amusement park or similar environment
