Retail Store Management Trainee – FirstCash Salary:

$18.00–$29.25 per hour (plus commission and bonuses)

Position Summary A Store Manager Trainee with 6–12 months of store management experience will lead day‑to‑day operations, train and develop staff, manage customer relations, analyze financial statements, and promote a customer‑centric environment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer‑centric service and address customer issues promptly.

Assist and train store cashiers and loan officers to meet FirstCash standards.

Recruit, train, and retain top talent.

Open and close the store, handle cash drawers, inventory, and asset protection.

Administer store processes: inventory, loans, merchandising, presentation, and reports.

Analyze financial statements and implement profitability initiatives.

Ensure operating standards meet FirstCash requirements.

Monitor loan eligibility and purchasing processes.

Complete training and development tasks.

Communicate store mission and profit objectives to staff.

Stay current on product knowledge.

Act as manager on duty when the Store Manager is absent.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 6–12 months of store management experience; or 1 year retail management experience.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform extended periods of standing, walking, climbing, lifting, etc.

Strong supervisory and multi‑tasking skills.

Experience with firearms and willingness to obtain firearms certification.

Minimum age 18; high school diploma or equivalent.

Flexible to work weekends, holidays, multiple locations.

Experience with POS systems and office equipment.

Cash handling experience required.

Detail‑oriented, analytical, able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent work ethic and business sense.

Commission and Bonuses Store Manager Trainees may earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit and receive bonuses tied to store performance.
