About the Role Join our Fiesta Mart Store Operations Team as a Utilities Clerk. This role involves maintaining the store, particularly the Produce Department, assisting customers on the store floor, and ensuring the store stays clean and safe.
Responsibilities
Properly bag groceries and occasionally carry them for customers.
Maintain and retrieve store carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs, help with check stand upkeep, and remove waste from the parking area.
Assist customers on the store floor as needed.
Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, 45 pounds, and occasionally 60 pounds.
Perform other unspecified maintenance duties as required.
Requirements
Read and write Spanish/English and interact with the general public and co-workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Desired Extras
Basic PC/Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.
