Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Assistant, you\'ll package groceries and help customers transport their purchases from the Store to their vehicles.
Unloading merchandise from baskets; packaging groceries; assisting customers in transporting/unloading groceries to their vehicles.
Maintain and stock bag areas; assist customers in locating merchandise.
Greet customers and provide attentive service; stay responsive to customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
Stocking / Sanitation
Gathers baskets and picks up trash inside and outside the store.
Maintains and stocks bag areas; returns products to proper locations.
Stocks and stages bags; stocks check stand supplies.
Distributes Buddy bucks to registers; replaces anti-fatigue mats.
Performs cart and basket relocation and power-washing for department setup.
Fills red baskets and retrieves them as needed.
Cleans, mops, dusts, sweeps, vacuums check stand area, Return Center, and CCO area to maintain store cleanliness and safety.
Background / Training
Completion of Company Orientation and Basics of Safety training (upon hire).
Qualifications / Skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work with customers and stay attentive to their needs.
Ability to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency standards.
Function effectively in a retail environment with detailed and precise tasks; strong customer service orientation.
Physical / Occupational Requirements
Constantly reach at waist; frequently stand and walk; occasionally reach overhead, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and climb stairs.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and manage more than 55 lbs (up to 100 lbs) with proper technique; never lift beyond your safe lifting limit.
Exposure to varying temperatures, noises, and conditions; ability to work in a physically demanding setting.
