Base pay range
$21.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Job Overview As a maintenance technician associate, you are a pillar supporting the operation at our properties. The team ensures that all mechanical systems and equipment at the buildings are operational and properly maintained. Additionally, our team members are attentive and diligently work to ensure that all common areas are maintained in both an aesthetically appealing and disinfected condition.
Your Responsibilities
Perform routine walking inspections of floors to identify problems and report them to supervisors.
Maintain work equipment in good working condition.
Perform maintenance repairs in the common areas such as drywall, carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, painting, flooring, and other general tasks.
Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
While following safety procedures, perform casual labor (e.g., moving heavy items) as directed by supervisors.
Perform maintenance replacement and repair in areas of carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, and other minor building repairs as long as a permit is not required.
Use new equipment safely, following all safety procedures before and during use.
Routine inspections: routinely walk floors, including the roof, to check for problems and lights out, and report findings to supervisors.
Build a positive and cooperative working relationship with building staff to ensure smooth operations.
Complete work orders as scheduled, ensuring timely and efficient maintenance.
Properly perform casual labor tasks such as lifting and moving heavy items, following safety procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
Multifamily or association management maintenance experience
Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision‑making abilities
Ability to maintain positivity and diplomacy in a fast‑paced environment
Strong maintenance and repair skills, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electricity
CPO certification
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures.
Ability to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods, climbing stairs, and navigating the property/building quickly and easily.
Ability to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed.
Ability to repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers.
Schedule Tuesdays – Saturdays
