Position Summary The Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling and dispatching workers, equipment, or service vehicles to transport materials or passengers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and dispatch workers, equipment, or service vehicles as required
Coordinate transportation of materials or passengers efficiently and safely
Record accurate information for each call or dispatch activity
Prepare detailed reports documenting activities occurring during each shift
Communicate clearly and effectively with drivers, field personnel, and management
Respond quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
Basic computer and reporting skills
