– NOV Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician/Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and welding tasks on industrial equipment. The candidate will coordinate shutdowns, conduct safety procedures, and maintain accurate documentation. Responsibilities

Coordinate all shutdowns and repairs with supervisors and operators, using proper safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout. Perform daily preventive maintenance functions as scheduled. Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed equipment; connect power supply wires to equipment. Diagnose malfunctioning electrical apparatus and electronic components; test malfunctioning machinery. Select proper weld process, types of rods, and tools needed and employ appropriate welding techniques. Record inspection and test results and prepare and submit reports to maintenance engineering personnel. Set and adjust controls for machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth/angle of cut, and enter commands for computerized machine control media. Visually inspect, listen to, dismantle, and access machines to locate and correct malfunctions. Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems; remove and replace worn or defective parts of drive mechanisms or hydraulic systems. Realign and adjust components such as spindles and clutches; locate, measure, cut, thread, and install new air/hydraulic pipes. Start machines and equipment to test operation following repairs. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, or two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in mechanical, electrical, welding, mechanist, or machine repair. Electrical experience is preferred. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Strong numerical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of all units of measure. Common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Benefits
