Foundry Equipment Maintenance – 2nd Shift
Location: Syracuse, NY | Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM | Employment Type: Full-Time
What You’ll Do
Diagnose and correct electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical malfunctions on automated foundry production equipment.
Analyze machine operation sequences to determine root causes of malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer standards.
Adjust, repair, alter, and pipe water, air, gas, oil, and related systems to meet foundry equipment specifications.
Read and interpret shop orders, blueprints, schematics, operational manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
Test equipment functionality after repairs to ensure proper operation.
Detect and correct machine malfunctions; escape complex or questionable issues to appropriate supervision.
Generate and process shop orders as required.
